What’s great about Santa costumes is that they are so versatile. Decorations can cost a fortune but if you use a little wisdom, you can have a nicely decorated home for a fraction of the cost. If you are going as a couple to a themed Christmas party you could go as Mr. and Mrs. Clause. These costumes are complete with low cut top, short skirt, and sexy red stilettos.
If you want something completely different because you are tired of searching for Santa suits then how about being one of the wisemen or a shepherd. You could be an elf or even a reindeer. There are some fantastic elf costumes for all ages, all shapes and sizes, and all price points. You’ve got lots of choices.

Have a table with paper, clay, paint and other craft items and ask each guest to make something small that represents something they are grateful for over the past year. Use the completed items to fill a basket in the center of the table and have each person explain their item as they enter it. Have string and a hole punch to turn each item into a Christmas Tree ornament that each guest can take home with them. Another variation is to have something simple like a paper star or flower that guests write their gratitudes on, or you could have them make a square that you put together into a mosaic, or quilt, or collage. You can take pictures of the final product and send a copy home with each guest if you want.
