Why Pay More – Cheap Scrapbooking is Easier Than You Think
Purchasing scrapbooking supplies can be fun and a thrilling activity. But if you aren’t careful, it’s very easy to get carried away and get caught out with a big sum at the register.
Here are a couple of the tips I use when looking for cheap scrapbooking supplies:
Brick and Mortar Stores
Before I venture in to a craft shop, I write out a list of things that I need for my current or upcoming project. Whenever I go into a store, I make certain I have this list in my hand and work hard to sticking to this list as near as I can.
This helps me avoid picking up a lot of ‘little extras ‘ and guarantees that I come out with all of the supplies that I originally went looking for. It could be a frustrating experience returning with lots of extras but not the item you initially went to buy.
If you can’t help picking up something extra, then go through the clearance bins in your local store. You will find many inexpensive scrapbooking items and you will get it for a cheaper price. You may also find something that you originally came in to buy!
Online Stores
Just because you have got to buy some new supplies, this does not mean you should have to pay more than you have got to for them.
You can find numerous cheaper supplies on various scrapbooking sites. While you could go to a bricks and mortar store to find them, I have always been more successful at finding inexpensive supplies online.
There are 2 reasons for this, first online stores don’t have the expenses of property, rent, and lots of staff to pay. Secondly, I’m able to visit and review ten stores in the time it would probably take me to stroll around one.
So save yourself some time at the same time as cash and have a look at some website stores.
