How to Compare Tire Prices
Divide the price into the number of miles on the warranty. For example, a $150 tire with 50,000 guaranteed miles costs 3 cents per mile over the life of the tire whereas a $120 tire for the same miles costs 2.4 cents per mile.
Keep in mind that premium tires may deliver better fuel-efficiency in the long run . Always purchase tires which can offer better value and greater fuel economy even though they are initially pricier. The tires will pay for themselves eventually.
