Panic Away

Panic (or anxiety) attacks are a fairly common reaction, but that certainly doesn’t make it any less desirable to experience. When people experience an anxiety attack, it is often accompanied by feelings of impending death/doom, light-headedness, shortness of breath, and chest pain. Panic attacks can often be confused for heart attacks by those who have not received a diagnosis.

Panic attacks can be treated one of several ways. For some, they might seek treatment through pharmaceuticals, and others seek “natural” solutions. This is often accomplished through meditation or some other form of stress reduction. Lifestyle changes (job, relationships, etc.) can also be another way to reduce daily stress, thus lessening the chance of experiencing a panic attack.
