Thank you CaseRed,…trying to help who I can. Hopefully some thoughts will get through and when they starts seeing those results, they’ll have enough interest then to learn even more.
I’m here to say you …
I’m here to say you should all listen to what brushfour is telling you. He is accurate.
Somebody’s making …
Somebody’s making money off of you!
Muscle gain is IRON …
Muscle gain is IRON related, training related, not supplement related. They’re related to how much guts you have in the gym to try heavier weight and increase intensity of sets. If you’re training Volume, then it’s also related to shortening rest times between sets and performing good reps. That’s where the game is won. Put hard intense lifting together with hard interval training and THAT is where it makes the difference. Get good rest and ” some” protein in your diet and that’s the recipe.
I’m not going to …
I’m not going to sugar coat the difficulty of Interval Training. They’re short, but let me tell you SouthStar…they’re tough; both mentally and physically. I trains your body not only for anaerobic power, but trains your system to recuperate in the short rest periods BETWEEN the intervals as fast and an much as it can. You may only be on that stationary bike or treadmill for 25 minutes, but it’s like a 25 minute fight in the ring. Try them out and let me know how it goes.
Southstar, you …
Southstar, you sound like you know what you’re doing. You’re asking the right questions. Just asking these specific questions tell’s me or anyone who’s well versed, that you’re in the right place. Yeah I used to stand in line at GNC, protein powders, protein bars..the whole bit. I keep VERY detailed journals of my cardio and strength training going back over 11 years now. Tried ALL sorts of daily protein intake levels. There has been…NO difference is strength or muscle gain related to that.
hey thanks alot …
hey thanks alot brushfour, that really helped alot. I alway spend money buying protein powder but i guess ill try without it for couple of weeks, and see how it turns out. Ill also take your advice of the interval training method and see how that turns out as well. thanks for the advice
Hard interval …
Hard interval training is better at developing cardiovascular fitness and burns more calories. I only do it once or twice per week however because you need to proper rest after that. Walking and light runs burn less calories but they’re great because you can do them on rest days and they help with muscle recuperation and burn fat calories without tiring you out so much. The ideal is to to BOTH. 1-2 hard cardio days per week, and then walk on other easy days. You’ll get FRIGGIN’ LEAN doing that!
southstar, I also …
southstar, I also have reduced my protein. I was actually taking in about .9g per lb of bodyweight on most days. On cheat days I was probably over 1g per pound. Since May I’ve eliminated all protein powders and most protein bars. In that last 6 weeks, I haven’t even had a protein bar. I have lost NO strength or muscle because of this change. “Some” natural food protein relplaced the powder. I’m at about .5-.6 g per LB daily. I dropped from 184 lbs. to 180 lbs. in 5 months. I’m much leaner!!
sorry but another …
sorry but another thing so if your 180 you dont have to take in 180g of protein? Wow i was misinformed all this time. i thought for ever lb you have to have a gram of protein.
i just had a …
i just had a question, is interval training better then just walking or jogging continusely for 30 min?
I’ll asnwer this on …
I’ll asnwer this on my upcoming BlogTalkRadio show.
Steve what happend …
Steve what happend if a guy lift weights for 6-8 rep range and lift with intersity and do 1 hour of cardio right after weight training and did it for 3 days a week while on a healthy diet eating 5 to 6 small meals a day what is that gonna do for them ?
Ok but everyone …
Ok but everyone says that its impossible without bulking/cut phases . I for one have never used that and I have gained muscle anyway . If I would have bulked/cut instead , would my results be better ? I don’t know . Steve , you have great results , please explain to me why everyone says that you have to have a calory surplus to build muscle thus making impossible to lose fat . Thanks in advance
Thank you steve !
Thank you steve !
do you know a plan …
do you know a plan I can use to gain 60-100 pounds of muscle while losing 30-60 pounds of fat in 18 months? PS, right now I am 225 with 13% body fat. I am trying to get down to under 10% body fat. I also take creatine and protein powder and am 23 years old. My main goal is to be between 265-295 lbs. thanks for any help you can give.
LOL! Playa please. …
LOL! Playa please. People hardly max out the capabilties to buil;d muscle and lose fat in 6 months. There are too many factors to list.
You know, you give …
You know, you give supplement companies shit, saying that they try to sell their products, like protein and creatine. You say that they feed people lies. Some do, most definitely. But, you do realize that you see so many people build muscle and lose fat solely because they’re new to lifting and exercise. It is possible to SLOWLY build muscle, if you barely eat above maintenance. After lifting for 6 months, it is almost impossible to build muscle and burn fat. It’s a scientific contradiction.
Thank you! My …
Thank you! My pleasure. Nothing but the truth!
Great video. You’re …
Great video. You’re doing a great job Steve. I ‘ve been watching for a while now and whenever I want to learn sth I know where to do it. Keep up the great work

For me this is by far the most useful video u have done so far steve!
hey steve, im 18 …
hey steve, im 18 yrs old, 175 lbs & 178 cm, im trying to bulk up now and getting huge muscles, how many days a week u think i should workout or do weight lifting ?
dwonkyC,..you want …
dwonkyC,..you want to constantly do something that will engage the legs continuesly though a range of motion. Biking is good IF, it’s not a lot of stop and start. If you go and pedal for most of 30 minutes straight,…that’s good. Skateboarding? Hmmm, well it’s active, and you’ll burn ” a few ” extra calories, but it’s no where near anything like running, biking, elipitical done continuesly for 30 or 40 or even 60 minutes.
