how do i gain muscle with high metabolism?

Im planning on entering pro wrestling school and the only thing in the way is my high metabolism. how do i gain muscle mass with my high metabolism?

The trick to gaining weight has not changed in years. EAT…TRAIN….SLEEP.. If you have a high metabolism put on the feedbag and EAT. Consume high calorie gainer smoothies 3-4 times a day as well as plenty of whole foods. For some killer smoothie recipes go to http://www.buybulkwhey.com Keep your head down and plug away, good luck with the wrestling camp!!

    old school tactics;

    you should know at this point that body builders have a classical strategy called cut and burn;

    one week eating nothing but animal protien, and the week before a stage show, eating nothing but lettuce and vitamin supplements.

    if you want to gain mass with a high metabolism you need to do three things;

    1) get a very high quality protein supplement and take twice as much as the recommended dosage; whey protein is pretty good but soy is better, and it also costs more

    2) laugh at your friends who are eating apples and salads at mcdonalds… even the bad fatty acids will get you bulk at this point, eat the absolute most unhealthy items you can find until you reach your target weight or until you get to 30% body fat index. afterward cut and burn, and start again

    3) you obviously dont want to kill yourself so start EVERY morning with a very small portion of whole grain cereal product.. it could be raw cracked rolled oats or cheerios, a whole wheat bran muffin or simply a glass of metamucil, noone cares except you… you will need the absorption qualities of these miniscule quantities of foods to maintain your cholesterol levels while trying to gain bulk

    Forest had the presence of mind to mention the last part, that through all of it you need to keep working major muscle groups anaerobically. Do small intense sets of huge lifts and presses while you’re building bulk, but only do cardio once a week. Cardio tends to increase a body’s ability to burn energy(ie. increase metabolism) while quick painful rip-burns tend to build bulk. The secret to building bulk outside of the nutritional aspect is still this; only do as much or slightly more than you can handle.

    Still many ‘professionals’ tend to favor expensive gym memberships and the one-on-one with professional trainers, but ultimately once you get a feel for how much you can take vs how much you put yourself through, you can usually find the right balance of workout vs pain. If you haven’t found the balance yet, I’m certain someone on the yahoo answers group can find an acceptable fitness regime for you for a moderate fee ;-) .

    You have to go cautiously though through this process, because a bad rip can take you out of the game for weeks.

    Good advice. Eat a ton of food! A couple of tips that helped me back in the day:

    Seriously think about eating all the time. You should have something every 3 hours or so.

    Just double your portions from what you’re doing right now. That’s an automatic and easy way to increase your calories.

    And also, you want a well-designed workout program that focuses on big, compound movements like Bench Presses, Deadlifts, Squats, etc.

    Up your calories by at least 500 per day, although I don’t really recommend eating all crappy junk food or McDonalds all the time; you want to do this in a healthy way. Eat at least 6 meals a day. For people trying to lose weight, these should be small meals, about 200-300 calories, but you should do at least 500 calorie meals. Protein shakes are great. Have about three a day with your meals. Bulkfoodsdirect.com has a great protein powder. Mix it in a shake/smoothie, and also add some to your meals (it mixes great in oatmeal). Always have protein after you workout. Make sure you’re working all your muscle groups. Also make sure you get plenty of rest; it’s key to building muscle.
