Is this a way to lose body fat and gain muscle?
okay lets sayt if i do cardio for about 40 minutes per day. which includes a healthy diet. cardio is to burn fat. to build muscle i will weight lift upper body only. because using my legs in cardio. is this a good idea?
if not what can i do to keep my muscle, and burn the fat?
NO, ok your body can only do one at a time. to lose fat you need to be burning more cal. then you put in and to gain muscle you need more cal. then you burn. just do the cardio and try HIIT ok this helped me alot I was 230lbs 2 years ago now 160
