Exercise has great benefits especially if you are pregnant. Always remember though to take caution before doing any exercise program. It also crucial to you and your baby to make sure that what you are doing is within the safety limits. Following are the top priority things to remember when exercising while pregnant:
Ask for your doctor’s advice.
It is highly important to seek for you doctor’s advice and go-ahead signal. This will help you determine as to what extent of exercise you can do. For most people who’s not suffering from any complications, it will likely be possible.
Eat more energy giving foods.
Pregnant women will surely have an increase of caloric need which is necessary for the baby’s growth and development . Exercising will also increase your body’s need to create more energy and may lead to depletion if you don’t have enough supply.. We don’t want that to happen.
Drink more water.
Make sure to keep yourself hydrated even before, during, and after exercise. Signs of dehydration may include increase in your body temperature or early contractions which can be harmful to you and your baby. Drink even more during hot or humid weather to make sure you maintain your hydration status despite of excessive sweating. It is suggested to estimate one cup of water intake in every 20 minutes of exercise.
Warm up and cool down is always a part of the routine.
Warming up before an exercise will help your muscles and joints anticipate an increase of movement. This will help in increasing your heart rate getting ready for the real exercise. Same with warming up, cooling down also plays an important role. It helps in letting your heart return to its resting rate following a workout.
Exercise regularly.
Make sure to continue doing your exercise consistently. Depending on your doctor’s advice, you can also at least do it about 3 sessions a week. This will greatly help in making your cardiopulmonary system cope up with the growing needs of oxygen and circulation of nutrients during pregnancy.
Exercise after pregnancy will also help you regain your pre-pregnancy status. Treadmills are safe for pregnant women unless specified by your doctor. If you don’t have one yet, it’s about time you get one. Don’t worry, you can let treadmill assembly specialists do the hard task of assembling it and it will only take less than 30 minutes to do so.

When using creatine, always keep the body well hydrated, take about 0.3 grams of creatine per 2.2 pounds of body weight and take it on an exact scheduled basis, either in its powder, crystallized, serum or tablet form. Take creatine carefully, after consulting with a medical or fitness professional, with nutrition advice from an experienced personal trainer in this free video on fitness.
