Home Saunas Promote Friendships

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Most of us are interested in going to gyms, saunas and spas in order to ensure that we live a healthy life.  However, we find that it is very difficult to spare sufficient time nowadays for these activities when they are located at different places. Thus we would like to have these facilities at home. You can get the following advantages for your mind and body by having sauna facilities at home:

•    The heat inside the sauna helps cleanse the body by inducing sweat that will leave your skin smooth and clean
•      The cleansing process occurs by inducing thirst and thus, cleansing the inside of your body as well;
•    You tend to lose weight because certain amount of calories is burnt during the cleansing and sweating process.

A saunas is great stress reliever and it is great to have it at home and use it in the home environment. Availability of a home sauna provides you all the benefits of a sauna in a short period thereby refreshing and rejuvenating you so you can counter another day’s tough schedule.

If you have a sauna at home you, your family and friends can use it anytime you want without having any time restrictions. Friends can join together and organize sauna evenings to update themselves on the various news and gossip about their communiy. The number of people that can be accommodated in your home sauna might vary between 2 to 6 people, depending on the size of the sauna. If the space allotted in your home for sauna is large you could accommodate more than 6 people. ) You get considerable enjoyment and benefits by using home saunas; you will realize that whatever effort you have put in terms of time and money is worth it.

People suffering from heart ailments and BP, pregnant women and people taking medications that might cause drowsiness should not take sauna without anybody accompanying them; otherwise it could be dangerous.  It is dangerous to allow children to either activate sauna or use sauna without the guidance of adults.

Ensure that you in home sauna door always opens towards the outside for easy and quick access in case you need it, does not have locks so you cannot accidentally get locked in and if possible a alarm button in case of emergency.

Worst Weight Loss Mistake 2 – Where’s Your Angelina Jolie?

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

http://www.erinhuggins.com Moving forward with the body/mind connection – You have to use your brain to get the body you want! After you have set your goal, you must exercise your mind. You must begin to visualize the body you want and deserve. Make a game of it. Every night as you are falling asleep imagine that you are an architect and you are building the body you want piece by piece. You have to nourish the inner aspect. You have to be a warrior, a diva, a super star! Do you think Angelina Jolie walks around with a negative attitude about herself? Do you think she says “I suck” to herself? NO! You can’t be a successful as Angelina Jolie and have that kind of self defeating inner dialog.

Create inner dialog that enables you to bring the body you want into existence. Most people completely neglect the mental aspect of a weight loss or makeover and go straight for the crazy cardio classes. Use the power of your mind to reinvent yourself into the person you want and deserve to be! You can create a magical life. You just have to do it in a mindful, logical way. Don’t burn yourself out by getting all cracked out on cardio for two weeks while not spending a second on mental and inner strength. Because if you don’t focus on mental and inner strength you will not be able to get past how terrible your body is going to feel after two weeks of crazy cracked out cardio (which by the way isn’t even the best fat loss exercise!)

http://www.operationshapeshift.com If you need help in the inner strength depart there are some great mental exercises that will help you Ignite your inner Angelina Jolie! Visualization and guided meditation are techniques Tiger Woods uses before every golf game. Do you think they are working?
